Blogmas Day 9 | Best of the Boots 3 for 2

Wednesday, 9 December 2015

Aloha! I dunno about you but I am a big fan of the Boots 3 for 2 on gifts at Christmas time.
I always find something for everyone in there. I thought I'd do my pick of the best gifts under £10 which you might find handy if you have a secret santa present to buy!

Boots gifts

Twinings Tea Set £10 - This one would be good for the tea lover in your life or your office!

Starbucks Sprinkler Set £13 - I love a good Starbucks and I know a few people who would also love this, especially my boss who is a big fan of coffee!

Beauticology Travel Kit £8 - I think this one looks worth a lot more than £8. Beauticology products always smell so yummy! And this sequin travel bag is so cute!

Soap & Glory Bright and Bubbly £10 - I don't think I know anyone who doesn't like soap & glory so this is one I could add as a little extra into any parcel!

Sanctuary Spa Little Bag of Joy £10 - I've received Sanctuary Spa products as gifts quite a few times and I've never been disappointed. They always come in such pretty little bags or boxes as well!

Will you be taking advantage of the Boots 3 for 2 this year?

Primark Haul

Wednesday, 26 November 2014

Hey Everyone! It's been a long time since I did a Primark haul on here! I popped in last week to pick up a few bits and bobs for christmas presents. Obviously I can't show you what I bought incase any prying eyes see! However it was mostly PJ's! Here are the items I picked up for myself!

Grey Bird T-Shirt - £3
For some reason I have a thing about bird clothing and accessories! I'm always on the lookout for cute t-shirts for wearing on my day's off and I thought this was lovely. And it was on the sale rail reduced from £5!

Black Boots - £18
For Primark these boots are quite expensive and they do feel a bit flimsy. However I think they look really nice so I treated myself! I've only had them on once so far but hopefully I'll get plenty wear out of them

Black Cardigan - £6
Everytime I go to Primark I always pick up a plain black cardigan for work! This one is a bit thicker for the winter. My desk is right at the door of the office so it gets a little draughty! This should keep me cosy (along with the heater under my desk ha ha!) I love the little shell like buttons on this too! A bit different from the usual plain black buttons you get on these cardigans!

Blouse - £5
This black chiffon blouse was on the sale rail reduced from £10. I thought it would look nice with my black pencil skirt for work! I've yet to wear it but I'm planning on wearing it soon!

Slippers - £4
And finally, my favourite purchase! These slippers are almost identical to the Ugg slippers I've had my eye on recently! They are dead comfy and I can't wait to get home at night to get my feet in these! I've got terribly cold feet but these keep them nice and cosy! They come in a few other colours too, including black and navy so if chestnut is not your colour, don't worry!

So that's it for this time. Hope you enjoyed reading this post. Let me know what you've picked up in Primark recently! :)

Luxury Christmas Gift Guide: For Her

Thursday, 20 November 2014

Hey Lovelies! After spending many a night browsing the christmas gift sections of various websites, I've decided to put together a list of my picks of luxury gifts for her! I've purchased a few of these ideas but I won't say who for incase they see this post!

Moet & Chandon Golden Goblet Gift Set- £59.99. Selfridges.com
I love this set. I've purchased it for someone's christmas and it looks even better for real than it does in the picture!

Edinburgh Gin Cocktail Set- £40. johnlewis.co.uk
This is currently out of stock on line but your local store might have some left! You can't beat a raspberry flavoured gin cocktail!

Elizabeth Arden All Day Chic Set- £300 or £50 when you spend £30 on Elizabeth Arden Products at Boots.
This is amazing value if you get it for just £50! My mum got a similar collection from my dad a few years ago and she loved it! The handy bag for storing it all in is great too!

Ugg Scuffette Slippers- £70. johnlewis.co.uk
These are on my christmas list! How cosy do they look?! Not sure my tootsies will last without them until christmas! I may just have to gift myself them...hehe!

Michael Kors 'Brooke' Bag- £310. Selfridges.com
Now you'd have to be feeling super generous to buy someone such an expensive bag but look how pretty it is? A black bag is a pretty safe bet for a gift too. You can never have too many! I love how the top straps are longer than usual handbag straps too! And it's got the cross body strap too depending on what mood you are! I'll need to get saving my pennies for this one!

I'd love to know which luxury gifts you'd like to receive this christmas! Leave me a comment below :)

B1G1HP beauty at boots!

Sunday, 22 September 2013

Today I used the last of my favourite foundation so I popped into boots after work to grab another one. I thought this would be a quick in-out situation but no, I spotted an offer not to be missed!

Right now boots have Buy 1 get 1 half price on mix and match across all beauty products. So here is what I picked up from this offer!

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm- £2.99

I've seen these lip balms on lots of blogs recently so I really want to try them out! The purple one is tinted a slightly nude colour so hopefully it will be a nice alternative to lipgloss (which my long hair always sticks to in the lovely Scottish wind!) The yellow one is just a plain hydrating balm.

Collection 2000 Mascara- £2.99

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation- £7.69

I don't wear a lot of mascara but the one I had was all clumpy so I took advantage of the boots offer to get a new one! I just wanted something cheap so this suited me perfectly. The foundation is the same one I've been using for about 3 years! It works really well with my skin so I don't want to try anything different! I like that it is a mousse too as it makes it a lot easier to blend!

Rimmel Nail Polish- £3.99

I absolutely love Rimmel nail polishes! They always look really nice and don't chip as easy as the cheaper brands. This one is a sparkly orange colour and I just loved it the second I saw it! It goes with my handbag and all my orange clothes I've been buying! I've just finished putting it on my nails and I have to say it looks really nice after only 2 coats!

Barry M Nail Polish- £2.99

I also really liked this colour! It is a cerise pink glitter! I'm looking forward to trying this one out once I'm done with the orange sparkles!

That was all my lovely new make-up purchases which, including a £1.65 bottle of hairspray, came to £21 which is not too bad for all these goodies!

What have you been buying in this boots offer?
