Boxing Day Sales Haul

Tuesday, 30 December 2014

Aloha! You can't beat a bit of festive shopping, even better when everything is in the sale! I've picked up a few bargains, so here is a little roundup of everything I've bought!
On Boxing Day, we headed into town as a family to have a little look in the sales! I never saw anything I really wanted, but later on that day we went to our local shopping centre where I got these little bargains!
Blue Jeggings - £12 from Next
I live in leggings and I'm always looking for another pair to add to wardrobe! These were originally £24 so I was delighted to get them so cheap!
Grey Dogtooth Leggings - £14 from New Look
These are beautiful! I plan on wearing them to work mainly but they will also be lovely to wear casually too!
Black Scuba Leggings - £5 from New Look
I wasn't so sure about these, but you can never have too many black leggings! After trying them on though, I really like them so I'll be keeping them! They will be nice dressed up or casual!
Candy Cane Lane Small Jar - £3.99 from Clintons Cards
Yes, I bought more candles! I was looking for one of these online but they were sold out everywhere. So imagine my surprise when I walked into clintons and found them on a half price shelf! This smells of peppermint and sugar! It's lovely!
Candy Cane Lane & Cranberry Ice Waxed Tarts - 69p each from Yankee Candle Store
My local Yankee store was selling off all their Christmas stock at ridiculous prices on Boxing Day! Unfortunately I missed most of the bargains, but I did manage to grab some wax tarts for my new burner!

Navy Crochet Maxi Dress - £28 from Very.co.uk
This is actually navy, it's just my lighting is terrible! I've had my eye on it for a while for my end of uni ball in May, so when it went in the sale, I just had to buy it! It is really pretty and I think it may be a perfect dress!

Globe Bookends - £22.50 from Marks & Spencer
Again, I picked these up a bit before Christmas. I couldn't resist them. They are just so me! My mum bought some for my dad too! I've always wanted a globe and now I have 2!

Candy Cane Lane Tealights - £3.50 from Yankeecandle.co.uk
I bought these before I found the small jar and the wax tarts on Boxing Day, but these will still get used in my lovely cat tealight holder that I bought from the same website!
Cranberry Ice Small Jar - £4.00 from Yankeecandle.co.uk
Fireside Treats Small Jar - £4.00 from Yankeecandle.co.uk
Icicles Small Jar - £4.00 from Yankeecandle.co.uk
Of course, I couldn't resist stocking up on some more jar candles! I think I need to go to candle rehab!  These were half price so how could I say no!
I also picked up a Baby Powder Large Jar in the Very sale for only £16! That hasn't arrived yet so I don't have a picture to show you!

So that is all the bargains I have managed to find so far! No doubt there will be more to come!
I'd love to see any posts about products you have found in the sales! Leave me your links below!

Dress- Next £9 (sale)
Cardigan- Forever 21 £7
Leggings- Primark £3
Shoes- Primark £6

Hello everyone! I'm back after a short break with a new outfit post! I've been so busy over the last few days as it was my birthday! I'm now the grand old age of 22! I went for a little girls day out on Monday and I picked up this pink bird print dress in the next sale! They only had size 10 or 22 left, but I just had to have it so I went for the 10 and prayed it would fit. I have to say I'm presently surprised with the fit! I paired it with my pink cardigan and shoes and some black leggings for work today and lots of people have commented on how nice it is!
Have you bought anything nice in the next sale?

Black and Gold

Saturday, 10 May 2014

Hey everyone!
As you may know, I finished my exams this week, and it's tradition on my course that we have a ball at the end of every year! Of course this means I get to buy a new dress every year which is always fun!
So here is my outfit from last night!!

Please excuse my messy hallway!
My dress is from Boohoo.com, I'm wearing gold glitter shoes from Next and a plain silk pashmina from Tie Rack

Train selfie!
I wore plain gold ball earrings (from H&M) and no necklace as I thought the sequins on the dress were enough!
I never wear eye make-up so as you can see I treated my eyes last night! And I just wore my hair in a ponytail and curled the ends!

Everyone had a great night, especially our lecturer who was more drunk than any of the students! I had a rather sore head this morning (made worse by starting work at 9am)! So scary that next year's ball will be my last ever one! Ahh I'm getting old!

Just a little haul...

Wednesday, 18 September 2013

Don't you just love it when your student loan appears in your bank? Well i do, because that only means one thing! Shopping!

So here is the items I've picked up this week!

Top- River Island £22

Okay so this top is waaay too expensive for what it is but I just fell in love with it and I had to have it! I wore it to my first day back at uni yesterday with the burgundy cami dress from my Primark Haul- September post, and plain black leggings.

I've not got a photo of my next purchase (because they are in the wash right now!) but I got these black leggings from M&S. I don't usually buy things from M&S but i have to say, their new A/W collection is really good! These leggings were £15 which is more than i usually pay but I've had them on about 5 times and they still look as good as they did when i bought them!

Leggings- Next (Outlet store) £11

I really like wearing pattern trousers and leggings and this must be one of the only patterns I didn't already have! I thought these were really nice, I'm looking forward to wearing them with a plain black cami and a coloured cardigan. The only problem I've found with them is that they sit on the hips, whereas I prefer my leggings pulled up Simon Cowell style! I still really like them though so I'm keeping them!

Jumper- Primark £3 (BARGAIN!)

I picked up this jumper thinking it was £8 (it was on a full price rail), but when I got to the till it scanned at £3 so I was delighted! I really like sparkly jumpers and as this one has silver lurex thread in it I had to have it. I'm secretly happy Autumn is here cause I can get all my sequin jumpers back out again!!

Hoody- £14.98 Ebay (Here)

I've been wanting this hoody for a year now and I finally bought it! I just love the massive, leopard print hood! It's really cosy and looks great with leggings and ugg boots on those chilly afternoons! I can see me living in this when I'm stuck in the library in the winter!

So that is all I've purchased so far! What is your favourite item? How would you wear these?
