Hello Everyone! I've been a rubbish blogger lately! To rectify this, I've signed up for this blogging challenge! I plan to blog every single day in May, which is going to be a major challenge as I'm right in the middle of exams just now, and I've got a weeks holiday coming up soon (18 days and counting)! Fingers crossed I can achieve this challenge!

Huge Spring/Summer Haul

Monday 21 April 2014

Hey, hope you've all had a lovely Easter weekend!
Today I've got a massive spring/summer haul for you all! As you may have heard me mention, I'm off on holiday very soon (26 days to be precise!), so I've been shopping like mad for new summer clothes!
On Friday, I went through to Glasgow with my mum for a little bank holiday day trip! This is what I picked up!

Turquoise Aztec Maxi Dress- £12.95 from Forever 21
Printed Maxi Skirt- £1 from Primark
Plain Orange Maxi Skirt- £5 from Primark

I fell in love with this maxi dress and I just had to have it! It's just something about the colour! Also you read correctly, the patterned maxi skirt was only £1! It's in pastel colours and looks really cute with a plain vest tucked into it! I'm on the hunt for a top match the orange skirt. I've seen one I love in Primark but they don't have it in my size just now! :(

Sandals- £10 from Primark

I've been looking for some wedges for ageeees! I found these bargains on friday! They are soooo comfy! The platform from makes them feel like wearing flats without compromising on the added height (which I really need!)

Baseball top- £14.99 from New Look
Jeggings- £19.99 from New Look

I had some vouchers for New Look so I grabbed these lovely items! I've really embraced the baseball top look and I have to say, I love it! This one is really summer with the palm tree print and it's a really flattering fit!
I love the acid wash jeans look but I'm not sure it would look good on me. These jeggings are slightly acid wash which I love! They only had my size in these so it was obviously meant to be!

Ralph Lauren Flip Flops- £14.99 from TK Maxx

I love these! They are actually kids flip flops (benefits of having tiny feet)!

Wedge Flip Flops- £6 from Sainsbury's

I think I've bought too many flip flops but I had to get these! My mum had a similar pair last year and they were great! As you can see I've already had them on! They go great with almost everything!

White Skinny Jeans- £16 from Sainsbury's
Bird Print Scarf- £6 from Sainsbury's

I've seen so many people wearing white skinny's this spring but I've never found a pair I liked until now! These are the perfect fit! They make my legs look nice and slim (which they definitely aren't). Also they make them in short, regular and long leg length! Good job Sainsbo's!
And how cute is this bird print scarf! I'm loving anything bird print just now, even though it totally conflicts with my cat print obsession!
If you like any of my Sainsbury's purchases, if you hurry to your local store today, they've got 25% off all clothing, shoes and accessories! (ends today)

Pink Polka Dot Bikini- £12 from Asda
Coral Stripy Bikini- £12 from Primark
Plain Black Bikini- £5.50 from Asda
Leopard Print Bikini- £15 from ASOS

Okay, so I have the worst time ever trying to find bikinis to fit because I'm bigger than a DD bust! I usually have to buy size 20 tops and size 12 bottoms! Thankfully, shops are starting to provide for us busty girls! Of course there are shops like bravissimo who have been selling bikinis in bra sizes for years, but at 40 odd pounds a bikini, I realistically can't afford them!
I'm also loving the fact that high waisted bikini bottoms are in fashion this year! I dread getting my flabby tummy out on the beach, but these work kind of like control pants! It's great!
If you are like me and you struggle to find bikinis in sizes that fit, I recommend the following shops:
1. Asda
2. Primark (limited range of bigger bust bikini's)
3. ASOS (go up a back size though, if your a 34 inch back, you will need a 36)
4. New Look (Kelly brook range does limited range in bigger sizes)

Leopard Print Maxi Skirt- £5 from Boohoo.com
Leopard Print Jumpsuit- £4.95 from Chiara Fashion

I didn't get these on my shopping spree on Friday, but they were such bargains, they are worth showing! I'm not usually a jumpsuit person but this one is really cute and at only £4.95 I couldn't say no!

If you've made it to the end of this blog post, then you deserve a gold medal! Hope you've enjoyed seeing my entire suitcase worth of holiday clothes! Are you going anywhere nice on holiday this year? I'd love to see your latest purchases, leave me a link to your blog in the comments box! :)

Easter Cheer!

Thursday 17 April 2014

Hello everyone! Hope you've all had a lovely week!
So for most people (except me), It's a long weekend coming up! Because I'm so lovely, I've made a hugeee batch of these cute easter crispy cakes to take to mine and my other half's work tomorrow!
These are sooo easy and cheap to make! All you need is some cereal (any kind works but I've used shreddies for the bird nest look), cooking chocolate (85p in Tesco), Mini eggs (£1 a bag in Tesco) and these little easter chicks (Only £1 for 12).
I just melted the chocolate in the microwave for 1 and a half minutes, then mixed the cereal into the bowl and spooned into the cupcake cases, then decorated. Literally takes about 10 minutes to do!
Let me know if you have any other cool easter cake recipes! :) And if I don't manage to post again until Monday, Have an awesome Easter weekend! :D xx

Primark Haul :)

Friday 11 April 2014

Whoops, I went to Primark again!
I've recently had a lot of time off work as there's been no overtime. I've been going to meet my boyfriend for lunch some days, and his office is near a Primark so it's been hard to resist going in!
So here is the stuff I've picked up this week!
Grey flats £5
It's starting to get warmer and the ugg boots are about to retire for another year so I thought I better get some new flat shoes to avoid being that girl who's still wearing boots in the middle of May!

Pink flower hair tie £1.50
I thought this was so cute! I think I'm going to use it to jazz up my hair when it's in a bun.

Pack of Scrunchies £1
White crystal belt £3
Remember when everyone wore their hair in scrunchie, then it became a bit Vicky Pollard? I need something to keep my hair back when I'm exercising and the hair elastics just weren't cutting it so I'm hoping these will work. Also I've had my eye on this sparkly belt for ages and I finally bought it. It looks like it cost so much more than £3! Can't wait to use this!

Black Baseball style tee £4
I've seen this tee on so many bloggers and I just love it! I bought this a few sizes bigger than I would normally buy coz I want it to be baggy. It looks really nice on!

Pink Leopard Shorts £3
I am not normally a shorts person because I hate my thighs but there are surprisingly flattering. I bought these for my holiday just so I had something to wear during the day, to go to the beach, pool etc. I might get a few different patterns and colours of these since I like them on.

White swirl print kaftan £8
This kaftan is gorgeous! It is so flattering with the drawstring waist! I can't wait for my holiday now so I can wear this! It comes in coral and black too. I think I might get another colour!

Yellow Baseball style tee £4
Because I loved the black version so much I bought this yellow one too! I've always thought yellow really suits me as I have such dark eyes and hair! I wore this top yesterday and it felt nice and fresh for a lovely spring day!

So that's my little Primark haul from this week! What have you been buying from Primark lately? I'd love to see your haul's so leave links to your blog in the comment box below!

Mini Primark Haul

Wednesday 2 April 2014

Hello Everyone!
I'm back with a little Primark haul for you all! I'm going away on holiday in May so have been on the look out for summer bargains. I have to say I was slightly disappointed with Primark this time, which is why I've not bought much.
FlipFlops £1.50
I just bought these for when daytime wear on holiday. Gotta love a bit of leopard print.

Baseball top £8
Baseball tops are everywhere just now! I thought I'd be a bit different and get a disney one haha! I think this is pretty cute. Looks nice with skinny jeans and converse too
Denim Skirt £3
This was in the sale reduced from £7. I wasn't too sure about it but it was so cheap and it would do for wearing to the beach with a wee crop top (if i shift the pot belly before May).

Daisy print top £3
Love this top. I've had it on loads. Feels good quality too.

Knitted snood £1
I'm not going to lie, I bought this because it was £1. It's quite nice tho and pretty on trend with it being monochrome. And obviously, living in Scotland, the weather is still freezing here (and will be until at least May no doubt!)

So there we have it, my latest Primark haul. I'd love to see what you've been buying lately. Leave me a link to your blog below, I'm always looking for new blogs to read :)
xx
