Forever 21, Primark and Lush Haul

Tuesday, 25 February 2014

Hey guys! The other half and I finally had a day off together today so we took a little trip through to Glasgow for some shopping! I wasn't planning on spending much money but that plan didn't last long at all!

Forever 21
We don't have a forever 21 in Edinburgh so whenever I'm in Glasgow I always spend a fortune in here!
Top £7.95
I'd seen this cute cat print top online a few days ago and I was desperate to have it so I was delighted the Glasgow store had it in my size! If you read my blog regularly you will know I love anything cat related so I obviously am in love with this!
Leggings- £4
These cute spot leggings were only £4! I don't have spotty leggings already and I'm really loving the black and white monochrome trend right now so I'm sure I will get plenty wear out of these!
Boots £14.99, Cardigan £13.99 (On BOGOF promotion)
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate how amazing this deal is?! I've been looking for a pair of black, heeled cowgirl boots for ageeees! I couldn't believe it when I spotted these! They are perfect! They only had one pair left which was my size and they even fit over my chunky calves! So happy!
And I'm sure I'll use the cardigan lots too especially with it being black and white haha!
Cardigan £7
I was very impressed with the price of Forever 21's basic cardigans. They feel like great quality and are so soft! I picked up this baby pink one as I'm really loving the colour just now!

Primark
Dress £10
Only one purchase from Primark today (shocker I know!) This cute tartan dress is the same fit as the red and blue one I bought in december! I've worn that one loads so I know this one will look great too!

Lush
Golden Egg £3
Spacegirl £2.25
Fluffy Egg £2.95
The Brightside £4.50
Of course, the day wouldn't be complete without a little trip to lush! They have all their easter stock in now which led to me getting very excited in the shop! I spent ages chatting away to the sales girl, which led to the other half getting bored and waiting outside for me! Anyway I settled on these four products. I can't wait to try these out! I'm going for a bath straight after I've finished this post just so I can use one of these! If you get a chance, definitely go check out Lush's new stock!

So that was my rather large haul from today! Hope you enjoyed reading this. Don't forget I've got a little giveaway going on right now where you could win 5 yankee candle votives! You can enter that HERE! :) xx

Little Mistress Wishlist

Sunday, 23 February 2014

I've just had a little browse on the Little Mistress website and I had to go hide my bank card! They've got some amazing things on their website!
I've put together a little wishlist for payday!

Dress £75
Every year I go to my end of year ball at uni. This obviously involves a new frock every year and I just love this! It's actually the most perfect dress ever! I just love chiffon dresses! And my partner is wearing a navy suit this year so we will be matching!
Lace Jumpsuit £60
Kimono £34
I'm hoping to book a little holiday at some point in the next week or so and this would just be amazing for holidays! I've never worn a jumpsuit before but this one is gorgeous! And the kimono is so cute. I'm in love with pale colours and florals just now so this is just great! And it adds something a little extra to the jumpsuit, don't you think?

Pink Dress £45
Black and White Dress £45
Again, these would definitely look great in my holiday wardrobe! Monochrome is very on trend right now and you can never go wrong with it! I love the shape and detail on this dress and the little bits of pink break up the pattern perfectly. I love pink dress purely for the colour and shape. Tunic styles really suit my body shape. The gold detail makes this dress look very tropical. I hope the weather is tropical where I'm going!

I can't wait for payday to get my hands on these items! If you have a few minutes you should definitely check out Little Mistress. I bet you will also find something you fall in love with!

TheSundayPost#2

Hello everyone!
Hope you've all had a lovely week!
I've not really been up to much this week except work, work, work! I'm off for 3 days now so hopefully I will find some exciting things to do!
1- Early rises! I've been up super early all week but really struggling to sleep at night! I will be so thankful for a lie in tomorrow morning!
2- Magpie Rhyme. Does anyone remember that rhyme "one for sorrow, 2 for joy etc." Well on Monday I saw six magpie in my garden! I immediately googled what this would mean for me and apparently six means gold! I didn't find a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow but on the same day I got an email confirming my redundancy pay would be paid by the end of the week and also won £5 on a scratch card!
3- Ice cream sandwich! Took me back to my childhood!
4&5- It's bath bomb galore in my house just now! The starry one was to help me sleep (which it did) and the flowery one was just to relax after a busy day at work!
6- Oops I bought another candle! This smells delicious!

So there we go. My very dull week summed up in a few pictures! What have you all been up to this week? xx

Lush Twilight Bath Bomb

Saturday, 22 February 2014

Hello Everyone! Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
I've been working some rubbish shifts at work this week so all has been quiet on the blogging front!
Tonight I tried out the lush twilight bath bomb! I've been starting work at 7am this week, but finding it very hard to go to sleep earlier than midnight!
Lush say that this bath bomb will help you sleep so what better time to use it! It is made using lavender oil (which smells gorgeous). Also this is like a bath bomb within a bath bomb! When it breaks up it creates swirls of blue and pink in the bath which was really cool!
In the end the water is left a violet colour and I noticed glitter in my bath water!
I will definately be buying this again! I love the smell! Hopefully it will help me go to sleep too!
I'll let you all know how that goes!
xx

Lush Think Pink Bathbomb

Wednesday, 19 February 2014

Hello Everyone! Hope you've had a good week so far. Today I have a little Lush review for you all!
I was babysitting my little cousin all day today so I was in desperate need of a relaxing bath by 6 o clock! He is only 2 and he's a little monkey but I love him so it's okay!
Anyway, I decided to use one of the bath bombs from the gift set my other half got me for valentine's day!
I chose the think pink bath bomb because I've heard so many good things about it!
This bath bomb is so cute! I just love the girly little flower's on it!
It turned the water a lovely fuchsia pink colour! My favourite colour! I'm not sure if you can see from the picture, but as it dissolves, lots of little pink paper hearts begin to float around the bath! So cute! The smell is lovely too! According to Lush's website, it is a vanilla scent which I would agree with.
I will definitely be adding this to the list of Lush products I would buy again! At only £2.50 it's a fairly cheap option too!
Have you tried this product? What did you think of it?
xx

Primark Wishlist

Tuesday, 18 February 2014

Palm Tree Skirt- £6
-I'm hoping to get a holiday booked in the next week or so now that my redundancy money has finally come through! This skirt would be so cute at night with a nice white blouse and white sandals!
Daisy Leggings- £3
- The daisy print is everywhere just now and at only £3 these are a real bargain!
Floral Leggings- £6
- Again these are a great price and really on trend too!
Nautical Swimsuit-£11
- This would be great for my holiday! I've got a little pot belly going on at the moment but my waist is still quite thin so this bikini would be great for hiding unwanted lumps and bumps on the beach!
My Little Pony Tee- £6
- This top takes me back to my childhood! I like building up a little collection of cool t-shirts for wearing to uni and this is so cute!
Heart Print Dress £8
- Even though it looks a bit wintery, I still really like this! The colour is definitely one of my favourites and the heart print is very on trend right now!

So that's my pick of my favourite items on Primark's website right now! Hopefully I can make it to a Primark store before they all sell out!
What have you been buying from Primark's new collection? I'd love to see your Primark hauls! :) xx
