Primark Haul

Monday, 6 July 2015

Aloha! It has been ages since I last did a Primark haul on here, so I thought I would do a little post about the bargains I have picked up lately!

Sandals £12
I picked up these to wear to my graduation (which is tomorrow!) as I really didn't fancy attempting to walk in front of hundreds of people in stilettos! This is mainly because I'm still suffering slightly from breaking my toe in Mexico! These are dead comfy, and they are wide fit so hopefully my little feet will be okay in these all day!

Tote Bag £1.50
In Scotland we have to pay 5p for every carrier bag we use. When I saw this at the till, I had to get it. Obviously because it has a cat on it! Also because I'm saving the planet though! I keep this rolled up in my handbag so whenever I need to pop to the shops, I always have my own carrier bag!

Cardigan £5 (reduced from £10)
This was a pretty difficult item to get a photo of! It's a batwing style cardigan in quite a thin material so it would be suitable for wrapping around you on a chilly summer evening (or just every day if you live in Scotland!) I'll probably wear this to work as its easy to chuck on over a blouse and skirt!

Blouse £3 (reduced from £10)
Talking of blouses, I got this bargain one for every day work wear! I've just found out I've got a graduate job (woohoo!) so I'll need to start dressing more professionally! I also bought this in black, which was also only £3!

Dress £5 (reduced from £13)
How pretty is this dress! It would be lovely to wear to a wedding or a special occasion. I will probably end up wearing it as a work dress once I've found a blazer/cardigan to match it!

Nail Polish £1.50
Earrings £1
My mum swears by this long wearing nail polish! At the moment, they only have it in 2 colours, this bright red and a hot pink. I was looking for a red one for my graduation so I was pretty happy with this! According to my mum, this is like having shellac on, and I actually noticed they had a gel effect top coat polish for just £1 if you really wanted to strengthen that effect! I've yet to try it, but I'll put up a post once I have!
These earrings were purchased also to wear to graduation. I plan on wearing my hair down so there was just looking for a simple pair. At £1, I can't really complain with these!

Okay so this last purchase isn't actually from Primark...it's from H&M and was a bargain £5.99! It was such an impulse purchase but I can actually see me wearing it quite a lot! I have a whole wardrobe full of cat print items and I'm forever adding to it haha!

So that's all my recent purchases from Primark (and one from H&M)! I'll probably be doing a little workwear haul soon as I prepare to start my new job, so look out for that!

Little Mistress Wishlist

Sunday, 23 February 2014

I've just had a little browse on the Little Mistress website and I had to go hide my bank card! They've got some amazing things on their website!
I've put together a little wishlist for payday!

Dress £75
Every year I go to my end of year ball at uni. This obviously involves a new frock every year and I just love this! It's actually the most perfect dress ever! I just love chiffon dresses! And my partner is wearing a navy suit this year so we will be matching!
Lace Jumpsuit £60
Kimono £34
I'm hoping to book a little holiday at some point in the next week or so and this would just be amazing for holidays! I've never worn a jumpsuit before but this one is gorgeous! And the kimono is so cute. I'm in love with pale colours and florals just now so this is just great! And it adds something a little extra to the jumpsuit, don't you think?

Pink Dress £45
Black and White Dress £45
Again, these would definitely look great in my holiday wardrobe! Monochrome is very on trend right now and you can never go wrong with it! I love the shape and detail on this dress and the little bits of pink break up the pattern perfectly. I love pink dress purely for the colour and shape. Tunic styles really suit my body shape. The gold detail makes this dress look very tropical. I hope the weather is tropical where I'm going!

I can't wait for payday to get my hands on these items! If you have a few minutes you should definitely check out Little Mistress. I bet you will also find something you fall in love with!

Huge Autumn Haul!!

Friday, 18 October 2013

Firstly, I apologise for neglecting my blog lately! I've been so busy with work and uni that I've just had no time to post! Don't worry though, I have a long list of posts I want to get up so you can all look forward to those!

This post was supposed to be lots of little ones but it's taken me so long to get them up that I've decided to merge them into one and show you all my huge autumn haul!

Image

The first item is this lovely batwing leopard print top! This was £5 from Primark. It's a little short on the body and I'm only 5ft 1 so I'd imagine it would be more like a crop top on anyone tall but it looks nice with a little black cami under it so I'm keeping it :)

Image

This beautiful fairisle dress is from everything5pounds.com (obviously it was £5). I've been looking for a dress like this since last winter and I'm so glad I found this. I can't wait to wear it with chunky tights and boots! Expect an outfit post when I finally get the chance to wear this! As an added bonus, when this arrived it had a label on it saying £15.99 so I got an absolute bargain with this! Go check out their website, they've got some really cute knitted dresses on there just now!

Image

Now I am not usually mad about heels, I'm more of a boots/flats person but these really caught my eye. These were also from a bargain website called justfor5pounds.com! I bought them to wear to a blogger event I attended in Glasgow 2 weeks ago (Post about this coming up next!) and I loved them! I don't know how, with them having such a chunky heel but I did manage to go over on my ankle in them unfortunately!

Image

Don't you just love this cardigan!? It is just so cosy and fluffy! And if you are not mad on the faux-fur collar it is removable! This was £28 from Peacocks and I just love it! (Direct Link) I can definitely see me wearing this all winter!

Image

This is another peacocks item! This lovely burgundy bag was only £14 and I have to say it's exactly what I was needing for carrying my Uni things in! (Direct Link) It may not look like it but I can get my 13 inch macbook pro in here along with a textbook, my purse (stuffed full of 1 and 2p's!) and a pencil case! And because it has a long strap, I can wear it across my body to avoid getting a sore shoulder!

Image

As you will probably be aware from previous posts, I am a sucker for cat socks! These were £4 for a pack of 3 from peacocks which is not too bad. (Direct Link) I've worn and washed them a few times now and they are still looking as good as new so I'm very happy!

Image

Every time I go into Primark I can't seem to leave without buying a pair of Pyjamas! I went in the other day and they had so many tartan bottoms, I must have spent at least 20 minutes trying to decide what ones to buy! I finally settled on these but every other pair they have are on my christmas list!! These were £6. The only thing I would say is the flannel material Primark pyjamas tend to go bobbly very quickly (after 1 wear most times!) which is quite disappointing! The fleece material ones are much better! However I don't mind too much as it gives me an excuse to go back and buy more!

Image

I bought these lovely scarves for wearing to work! I've been wearing the same scarf for weeks and I managed to get permanent marker all over it when doing sale prep so I had to get new ones! Obviously I couldn't settle on just 1 so I bought 3!

Burgundy Paisley (Link) The other 2 are not on the website but see store locator to find your local store!

These are square scarves and I like to wear them rolled up and draped round my neck. They are £9.99 each but they are on 'buy one get one half price' just now so if you like what you see, go grab some!

Image

There was one item I didn't already own and it was a tartan shirt! I was browsing in the hollister sale the other day and this jumped out at me! I don't know why, but I was really drawn to the colour. It's a gorgeous jade green colour. This was only £16.99 in the sale and I just had to have it. It is a floaty, silky material and it looks great with skinny jeans and converse for those long lectures at Uni!

Image

The lovely people over at very.co.uk phoned me up and offered me £30 off if I made an order of £60 or more on my credit account! So obviously I couldn't resist this and snapped up these uggs! (Direct Link) I've been deliberating over lots of different uggs over the last few weeks, and I already own the chestnut colour in these boots so I decided on the chocolate colour as I don't already have a dark brown pair of boots. Obviously I was delighted with these especially as I got them for £120 instead of £150!

Image

I used my very credit account a bit more when their sale started a few days after I bought my uggs! I couldn't decide on which colour I liked best but since there was a special offer on sale products when I bought them (extra 24% off for 24 hours), I got these for just £3.90 each!! The material is gorgeous on these, so nice and soft! I've worn them both with skinny jeans and boots and they look great on too! (Direct Link)

Image

I also got this lovely metallic cardigan in the very sale! (Direct Link) It was reduced to £10 and I love it! It's actually a golden colour (sorry the lighting is rubbish in my room). It is one of the few colours of cardigan I didn't already own so I had to have this. And I just love sparkly things!

Image

These cute little ankle boots were also in the Very sale! (Direct Link) I got them for just £9.88! I've worn them all week at work and they are sooooo comfy! I'm delighted with these! I like to wear them with tights and a black midi dress, but I'm going to explore other ways of wearing them next week!

Image

I finally managed to find a cat print dress that I like! I bought this on ebay and I got it for a bargain price of £2.58! Obviously because it was burgundy, I just had to have it! I've not had a chance to wear this yet, but I've tried it on loads and I love it!

Image

And finally (I bet you are glad to see that word!), I got this cute leopard print dress in the New Look sale for £12. I bought this to wear to the blogger event I was at 2 weeks ago! I love leopard print and it was long enough to wear with tights so I was very happy with this!

So that is everything I have been buying over the last couple of weeks! Which item is your favourite?

Primark Haul September Part 2!

Wednesday, 11 September 2013

I  wasn't supposed to be shopping today but it was raining and I needed an umbrella so I just "nipped into Primark." Needless to say I was in there for over an hour...

So here is some of the bargains I found today!

Image

Both of these cute dresses were in the sale! The denim one was reduced from £14 to £5 and the spotty one reduced from £5 to £2! I've been looking for a denim dress for ages so I was delighted to find this!

Image

These 2 tops were both reduced to £1! As i have to wear black to work, I will get plenty wear out of them, and I can wear a chunky cardigan over them in winter!

Image

I'm forever buying new leggings, you can never have too many pairs! And these will be perfect for winter at the bargain price of £6. (p.s they are much thicker and less see-through than your standard primark leggings!)

Just look how nice and fluffy the lining on these is!

Image

Image

And finally, I couldn't resist these cute cat slipper socks! I've got a really bad habit of buying cat socks just now! But these were only £3 and they look almost exactly like my cat so they had to be bought! Plus they will keep my feet cosy in the winter and as they are slipper socks they will stop me slipping on the wooden floors in my house!

So that's all I bought today! So much for just getting an umbrella! (which I did get by the way! Leopard print dome umbrella for £4!) I'd love to hear what bargains you've found lately! Drop me a comment in the comments box! :)

Primark Haul- September!

Monday, 9 September 2013

I know everyone gets excited over a little Primark Haul so yesterday my lovely other half donated some money to my fashion fund so I could go and have a little spend-a-thon in Primark!

[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="650"]Image Boots- £25[/caption]

The first item to hit my basket was these lovely "riding boots." During Autumn/Winter, I live in comfy boots and since I don't like wearing my uggs in the rain, I'm always on the hunt for some nice leather effect boots. Riding style boots are very on trend at the moment! However the only thing I would say is that at £25, they are a little expensive for Primark! Hopefully they will be worth it though!

[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="650"]Image Both Dresses- £5[/caption]

I'm sure you are all aware, but Primark do a great range of £5 dresses and for Autumn/Winter they are making ones with longer sleeves! They didn't have many options in these yet but I'm sure as time goes on they will get more patterns and colours in! I loved the spotty burgundy colour dress! Burgundy is definitely going to be a major colour in my wardrobe this winter! And I can't wait to wear the black one with some chunky knitted tights as the weather gets colder!

[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="650"]Image Cami Dress- £3
3 Pack Socks- £1 (SALE)
Chunky Slouch Hat- £2[/caption]

And finally, I picked up these winter essentials! I own soo many colours of these Cami Dresses! This is the latest colour to hit the shelves and also fits with my colour scheme for winter! I love to wear these with printed leggings or jeans and a chunky jumper on top! The socks were reduced to just £1. I'm obsessed with buying socks just now so obviously I couldn't resist this bargain! And you can never have too many socks, especially in Scotland when your feet are cold 99% of the time!! It is still a wee bit warm to wear my hat just now but I would probably not be able to find it if i went back when it got colder so I just grabbed it now! It's a slightly slouchy hat with a big pom pom on the end! So cute!

So that's all I picked up yesterday! What have you been buying in Primark recently? What items are you looking forward to wearing this Autumn/Winter!?

:)
