Beauty & Fashion | Birthday Wishlist

Untitled #9

Hello! It's my birthday on Friday and I've been having a little look online for present ideas (and ideas for things I'd like to buy with any birthday money I get)! So here is a little birthday wishlist!

1 - Kate Spade Watch. I've been keeping an eye out for a nice watch lately. Because my rings are white gold, I want a silver face. This has been pretty difficult to find but this Kate Spade watch is pretty much exactly what I'm after!
2 - Spectrum Brushes. I've had my eye on these brushes forever. They are just so pretty!
3 - Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette. I've got a bit of a thing for eyeshadow at the moment and would love to add this to my collection.
4 - Mac Mineralise Skinfinish in Cheeky Bronze. This looks so pretty. Almost too pretty to use! After getting my make up done at the Mac studio in New York for my wedding, I've started lusting after more Mac products! I'll definitely be adding this to my collection as I'm desperate need of a new bronzer.
5 - Kate Spade Bag. I really need a new bag for work and I'm regretting not getting a Kate Spade whilst in New York. I'd like something like this one!

Christmas Wishlist // Baking

Friday, 20 November 2015

Aloha! I've always loved baking, but ever since bake-off, I've been in my kitchen every weekend creating sugary treats. There are quite a few things I'd like to add to my bakeware collection, so here is what I've put on my Christmas wishlist...

Baking Wishlist

Cat Apron - £9
I am forever covering my clothes in flour because for some reason, I've never bought an apron. I spied this cute cat print one in M&Co and I just love it. It's very me!

Again with the cat theme, but this cookie cutter is dead cute. I'd forever be making cat shaped cookies if I had this.

I already have a springform cake tin, but you can never have too many right? These are an essential for cheesecake baking and I'd like to be able to make extra cheesecake for family members, so an extra tin would be handy!

Cake tins -£17.99
I love these Mason Cash cake tins, and they'd go really nicely with all my other bakeware. I definitely need more cake tins so I don't have to take my bakes into work in boring tupperware!

Nowhere seems to have these colours left, but these food preparation bowls are so nice. Lots of recipies involve mixing things separately but I never have enough bowls for that so these would be perfect. Also, whilst we are on the subject of Mason Cash bowls, I'd also love the "Good things come to those who bake" mixing bowl!

Kitchen Aid Mixer - £404.10
Okay, this one is never gonna happen, but I'd absolutely love a kitchen aid mixer. They are just so grand, and pretty and I need one! And it has to be the hot pink one. Doesn't even go with my kitchen but it's so pretty. Who would have thought I'd be lusting over a mixer!

Untitled #4

Vintage dress, £50 / Adrianna Papell shift dress, £170 / Coast mini dress, £135 / Coast wrap dress, £65 / Wallis shift dress, £38

So wedding season is upon us once again, and for a change I've got an invite to one! I'm currently on the hunt for a pretty dress to wear! The wedding we are going to isn't until september and it's wayyyy up on an island in the highlands of Scotland so I need something that will also keep me warm (and keep the famous scottish midges at bay). I'm really drawn to floral prints just now, and these 2 floral dresses are absolute bargains. However I can see me opting for the more formal looking, lacy, chiffon style dresses as I think they might be slightly more suited to the occassion (it's a rather posh wedding).

Are you going to a wedding this year? What are you planning on wearing?

Head over heels..

Work Shoes

Carvela Kurt Geiger leather shoes, $150 / Mary jane shoes / Vince Camuto shoes, $110 / Sheep shoes / Vivienne Westwood black pumps, $125 / Sole Society wedding shoes / Carvela Kurt Geiger navy blue shoes, $185

Firstly, I would like to apologise for being absent from the blogosphere for the past few weeks! Whilst I was on holiday, I was offered a job which I started the day after I got back. Things have been pretty hectic while I settled into working 9-5. But I'm back! As my new job is in an office, I have been on the hunt for some nice office wear. The one thing I'm struggling with is shoes! I am not a heels person but I have a few outfits that would look best with heels so I'm currently on the hunt for some! This is my little polyvore board of my favourite finds so far.
Do let me know if you've seen any nice heels lately!

Flatforms

Missguided high heel shoes
£28 - missguided.co.uk

Flatform wedge sandals
£20 - newlook.com

Missguided summer sandals
£20 - missguided.co.uk

Shellys pink leather sandals
£48.50 asos.co.uk

Pink sandals
£25 newlook.com

Hello Everyone!

I've recently become obsessed with flatform sandals, so today I'm bringing you my pick of the best ones out there! If you are short like me, these will be your best friend this summer! They are honestly the comfiest sandals ever! They are just like wearing flats (well duh! the clue is in the name!)
I love wearing maxi dresses in summer and I usually need a pair of wedges to stop them trailing the ground. However, the place I'm going on holiday to this year is full of cobbled streets which could result in a broken ankle if I wear high wedges. With these, I hope my feet will be nice and comfy and my ankles nice and un-broken!
Do you have a pair of flatforms? What do you think of them?
xx
