Aloha! I can't believe it's Sunday evening already! Where has this weekend gone?!

So here is what I've been up to this week.

1 - This picture sums up this week pretty well. I've been dreaming of better things most of this week, mostly wedding related. Things are slowly but surely coming along on the wedding front. We viewed another venue on Saturday, which I'm pretty enthusiastic about. Hopefully we will settle on a venue soon!

2 & 3 - This week we celebrated 11 years of happiness and purrs with my little furbaby Smudge. It's crazy to think it was so long ago that we took him home with us after he had been abandoned in a forest. To celebrate his 11th adoptiversary, I bought him his favourite food and special cat milk, and wrapped them up for him. Needless to say he's scoffed the lot now! 

4 - I just love Autumn time. The colours are just my favourite. And the fact I can get my layers and cosy boots out again makes me very happy. 

So that's about it for this week! Now it's time to get prepared for another work week. I'm pretty sure I'm in need of a week off now!

Hello Everyone! I missed posting my Sunday Post last week, but I am back this week! Here is what I have been up to in the last week!

The yankee candle sale started on Monday night! Obviously I couldn't resist putting in a little order! I will be putting up a January Sales Haul very soon so you will see what I bought! 

I was working right up until 12.30 on Christmas Eve unfortunately! When I got home, it was time to relax with a very fitting candle!

We spent Christmas morning with the other half's parents. It wouldn't be Christmas without me watching the snowman! 

This was our starter for Christmas Dinner. It was heaven on a plate! It was star shaped smoked salmon mousse with seafood sticks, lettuce, and my mum's homemade marie rose sauce! Delicious!

Smudge enjoyed his day too of course! Here he is relaxing after his dinner! 

As I was staying at my parent's house over Christmas, he got to sleep in the bed with me! Just look how cute he is!! 

So that's pretty much it for this week! As I type this, I am watching Harry Potter and munching on leftover turkey and duck curry! It's been a great week, and a wonderful Christmas!

A little slice of November

It seems like just yesterday I was writing my October roundup post! But here we are at the 1st of December! So here is my round up of this month! 

1 & 2 - November saw me making a little trip north, to Aberdeen to see my best friend! We had a lovely weekend catching up and doing the things we love. I also got to meet her lovely fella! 

3- I also got most of my Christmas shopping done! I had to carry these 2 boxes home from work though! 

4- I got my grades back for the 2 assignments I completed in October! Both were very good marks so I treated myself to my favourite chocolate to celebrate!

5- Coffee was very much needed in November to get me through those dark winter mornings and coursework! This was my first starbucks red cup! 

6- The month wouldn't be complete without a picture of Smudge! 

1- My dissertation proposal was due in near the end of the month! It resulted in a very late night, and me being 2 hours late for work then next morning. Oops

2- I made my first trip to Primark in quite a few months. These cosy slippers were my favourite purchase! You can find my Primark Haul Here 

3- I also made a little trip to IKEA where I bought more candles! 

4- And finally, here is Edinburgh all lit up for Christmas. I've already been to the winter wonderland twice and I'm sure there will be many more visits to come! 

So that was November! I'm sure it will be time to write the next one before I know it! But for now it's time to get excited for Christmas!!

Hello! A day late again this week but here is my weekly roundup! Not much has happened this week, although I have managed to blog nearly every day which I am very proud about haha! The blog is turning more style diary now which is great! Outfit posts are something I really wanted to get into so I'm happy I am managing to do it now! 

Wednesday was my other half's birthday (hence the wine picture!). It was a beautiful hot day so most of the day was spent in a beer garden. For his birthday I booked us a trip to Amsterdam in January! Id been keeping it a secret for weeks and nearly slipped up many times! 

I've become such a fan of travelling lately, I just can't stop dreaming about and booking holidays! The Dominican Republic is next on my hit list, so if you've been there, any recommendations would be welcome! 

Sunday wasn't a great day. One of my managers was very mean to me so I spent most of the day in tears. Damn me not being able to handle being shouted at! The evening was better though as my other half's parents came over for chorizo and pea risotto and some of my boyfriends home made banana cake (yummy!) 

This post has quickly turned into an essay so I'll leave it at that for now! Hope everyone has an awesome week! :)

Hello everyone! This post is a little late but I just didn't have the energy to blog yesterday! Here is my weekly roundup through Instagram! 

On Wednesday I saw the Queen and Prince William!! I was very excited haha! 

The weather was so gorgeous so I had a little picnic in the park! 

This was my throwback Thursday post. Totally wishing I was on the beach instead of in the office! But only 10 more weeks til I go back! 

And finally, this picture made me giggle. My other half always says I'm such a people hater. I'm not but I'm very easily irritated haha!

Hey Everyone, hope you've had an awesome week. Here is my week through instagram!

The boss bought us these cause it was veryyyy hot in the office! Yummy!

I got a new mouse pad which has a tropical island and the wrist support is supposed to be the ocean. I cried with laughter at my desk for hours because I cut a shark out of a post-it. Is it sad this was the highlight of my week?

Hey everyone! Just a little update on what I've been up to this week! 

1- After my Tax exam on Monday, I needed a little pick-me-up so my other half took me to starbucks for my favourite drink (Caramel Coffee Frappuchino)! If you haven't tried this I recommend you do! It's delicious! 

2 & 3- On wednesday we had our final exam which called for a celebration! Of course this involved wine and food! We visited a restaurant in Edinburgh called Twenty Princes Street. I'm going to do a post on our night next week so look out for that! 

4- I regularly get called the crazy cat lady so it made me giggle when there were 3 random cats in my garden this week, one of which was actually sitting at my window meowing to get in! 

5- This sums up the hillarity which was going on in my house when we should have been studying! It mostly involved videos of cats doing funny things! 

6- You may have seen my post yesterday about my end of year uni ball! We've been every year since first year and it's always a good night! This year was no different. It's so lovely to see everyone before everyone goes back home for the summer months! 

So that was my week this week! 

p.s this time next week I'll be lying on a beach in Portugal! (Just saying!)
