Lush Brightside Bubble Bar

Saturday, 8 March 2014

Hello Everyone! Apologies for the lack of blog posts this week. I have had a little stint in hospital this week thanks to a pretty nasty lung infection but I'm home now and resting up in bed!
After I arrived home last night, I decided I needed a nice relaxing bath to refresh myself! I used half of my brightside bubble bar which I bought in my latest lush haul. I picked this because of the tangerine oil in it. I always find when I'm feeling a bit rubbish, that citrus fruits make me feel a little better. This was no different!

The smell was just amazing! And my bath was a gorgeous bright orange colour. I cut this in half so I can get more than one use from it. I find you don't need a whole bubble bar for one bath.
This is definitely worth the money and I will be sure to stock up on this before it is discontinued!
You can buy this bubble bar HERE! I would definitely recommend it :)

TheSundayPost #3

Sunday, 2 March 2014

Hello Everyone! Hope you've had a lovely week! Things have been pretty quiet with me this week again, with work and uni taking over once again! I did get up to a few things though!
On Tuesday, my partner and I went to Glasgow for a small shopping trip!
It was our first day off together in about 4 weeks so it was lovely to spend some time together! You can find my haul post from that day here.
So, apart from Tuesday this week has been pretty boring. I watched lion king for the 10 millionth time (it's my favourite film). The picture in the middle made me laugh for well over an hour on monday morning. Saddo I know!
I took my granny to get her hair cut on wednesday and we saw the infamous Edinburgh tram on the move in the city centre for the first time!
The weekend revolved around early starts at work, of course!
And the final picture is me and my boy, smudge! I'm going to do a little post about him soon. He's very special to me! This is his new favourite place to sleep, around my neck!
So that is all that I've been up to this week, really!
I'll leave you all with this funny picture I saw on twitter!
Hehehehe! This made me giggle! Have a lovely Monday everyone! And don't forget my giveaway ends tomorrow at midnight! You can enter HERE if you haven't already done so!

Forever 21, Primark and Lush Haul

Tuesday, 25 February 2014

Hey guys! The other half and I finally had a day off together today so we took a little trip through to Glasgow for some shopping! I wasn't planning on spending much money but that plan didn't last long at all!

Forever 21
We don't have a forever 21 in Edinburgh so whenever I'm in Glasgow I always spend a fortune in here!
Top £7.95
I'd seen this cute cat print top online a few days ago and I was desperate to have it so I was delighted the Glasgow store had it in my size! If you read my blog regularly you will know I love anything cat related so I obviously am in love with this!
Leggings- £4
These cute spot leggings were only £4! I don't have spotty leggings already and I'm really loving the black and white monochrome trend right now so I'm sure I will get plenty wear out of these!
Boots £14.99, Cardigan £13.99 (On BOGOF promotion)
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate how amazing this deal is?! I've been looking for a pair of black, heeled cowgirl boots for ageeees! I couldn't believe it when I spotted these! They are perfect! They only had one pair left which was my size and they even fit over my chunky calves! So happy!
And I'm sure I'll use the cardigan lots too especially with it being black and white haha!
Cardigan £7
I was very impressed with the price of Forever 21's basic cardigans. They feel like great quality and are so soft! I picked up this baby pink one as I'm really loving the colour just now!

Primark
Dress £10
Only one purchase from Primark today (shocker I know!) This cute tartan dress is the same fit as the red and blue one I bought in december! I've worn that one loads so I know this one will look great too!

Lush
Golden Egg £3
Spacegirl £2.25
Fluffy Egg £2.95
The Brightside £4.50
Of course, the day wouldn't be complete without a little trip to lush! They have all their easter stock in now which led to me getting very excited in the shop! I spent ages chatting away to the sales girl, which led to the other half getting bored and waiting outside for me! Anyway I settled on these four products. I can't wait to try these out! I'm going for a bath straight after I've finished this post just so I can use one of these! If you get a chance, definitely go check out Lush's new stock!

So that was my rather large haul from today! Hope you enjoyed reading this. Don't forget I've got a little giveaway going on right now where you could win 5 yankee candle votives! You can enter that HERE! :) xx

Lush Twilight Bath Bomb

Saturday, 22 February 2014

Hello Everyone! Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
I've been working some rubbish shifts at work this week so all has been quiet on the blogging front!
Tonight I tried out the lush twilight bath bomb! I've been starting work at 7am this week, but finding it very hard to go to sleep earlier than midnight!
Lush say that this bath bomb will help you sleep so what better time to use it! It is made using lavender oil (which smells gorgeous). Also this is like a bath bomb within a bath bomb! When it breaks up it creates swirls of blue and pink in the bath which was really cool!
In the end the water is left a violet colour and I noticed glitter in my bath water!
I will definately be buying this again! I love the smell! Hopefully it will help me go to sleep too!
I'll let you all know how that goes!

Lush Think Pink Bathbomb

Wednesday, 19 February 2014

Hello Everyone! Hope you've had a good week so far. Today I have a little Lush review for you all!
I was babysitting my little cousin all day today so I was in desperate need of a relaxing bath by 6 o clock! He is only 2 and he's a little monkey but I love him so it's okay!
Anyway, I decided to use one of the bath bombs from the gift set my other half got me for valentine's day!
I chose the think pink bath bomb because I've heard so many good things about it!
This bath bomb is so cute! I just love the girly little flower's on it!
It turned the water a lovely fuchsia pink colour! My favourite colour! I'm not sure if you can see from the picture, but as it dissolves, lots of little pink paper hearts begin to float around the bath! So cute! The smell is lovely too! According to Lush's website, it is a vanilla scent which I would agree with.
I will definitely be adding this to the list of Lush products I would buy again! At only £2.50 it's a fairly cheap option too!
Have you tried this product? What did you think of it?
xx

The Sunday Post#1- Valentine's Weekend

Sunday, 16 February 2014

Hello Everyone! :)
Hope you've all had a lovely weekend! Welcome to my new feature as well, The Sunday Post!
Now it is not very often I get a weekend off, but this weekend I managed it! Here's what I've been up to on my weekend off!

Friday
Of course, Friday was valentine's day! I was a very lucky girl, indeed! My wonderful partner bought me the 'think pink' lush gift set and a black cherry yankee candle!

This is an amazing gift set! Everything smells soooo good and I can't wait to use them all! Expect many a lush related blog post in the next few weeks! My yankee candle will be a great accompaniment at bath time!

After receiving these lovely gifts, my partner took me out to a gorgeous french restaurant for dinner! The food was amazing! I wasn't brave enough to try the frog's legs or snails though!
This was my outfit for dinner. My dress is from New Look and my cardigan is from Primark. I put my hair extensions in for the first time in ages just for a bit of added volume (not that I need it!) P.s excuse the mess on the bed! I changed outfits about 20 times!

Saturday
It was my cousin and my great auntie's birthday's over the weekend. They both live in Darlington so we don't get to see them often but since they were both celebrating big birthdays we headed down for a little party! It was so lovely to see all my family down south for the first time in years!
This was the only photo I took from the party! We dressed my cousin up in a bubble wrap suit which everyone wanted to pop! My mum has loads of good photos from the evening so I'll just have to steal hers! Anyway, lots of drinks were consumed and good food had, so overall a great evening!

Sunday
And finally, on to today!

This was our view from our hotel room window this morning! What a beautiful morning it was! We headed to my aunt's for breakfast (which was amazing!) and then we headed on our way up the road after saying our goodbye's to everyone.
So that pretty much sums up my weekend! I've really enjoyed being able to chill and spend time with my family, shame it can't happen more often!

Hope you've all had a great weekend too! What have you all been up to?
xx

Lush Melting Marshmallow Moment Review

Friday, 31 January 2014

My other half was asking me the other day if there were any lush products I liked other than snow fairy so he could get ideas for valentines day. Of course I decided to go have a look at all the limited edition products so I could tell him!

Whilst browsing I got chatting to the sales guy about my love for snow fairy! This led to me buying the gorgeous bath melt! It smells identical to snow fairy!

Image

Of course I couldn't wait for my bath last night to use this!

It was sooooo nice. The smell was just amazing. My bathroom still smells amazing now!

And the colour was a nice baby pink, so no scrubbing the bath clean!

I highly recommend this product to anyone who loves snow fairy as much as me! It is one of the more expensive bath bombs at £3.95 each but it is totally worth it!
