I'm not going to lie, I am terribly unhealthy. I drink far too much fizzy juice, I can eat a share size bag of sweets in half an hour, and I have an unhealthy addiction to crisps.
Despite this, sometimes I go on a health kick and try to keep my eating under control after stepping on the scales and seeing how fat I am!
Now that's naughty calling myself fat, I know but it's a word that was thrown at me a lot growing up!
At only 5ft, I weigh about 12 stone which is not good! I know I'm overweight but I'm comfortable with my body so I don't see what the problem is.
I believe that all women (and men) are beautiful no matter what shape, size, etc, etc, they are! And if you are happy within yourself then bugger what anyone else thinks!
I put limits on what I can and can't have, and limits on how much naughty food I'm allowed. That's the extent of my healthy living. If I stick to my limits, great! If I don't, It's not the end of the world and tomorrow is another day! My weight has fluctuated about 3 pounds either way since I was 13 (no matter how many fad diets I tried) and I'm pretty happy with that.
I strongly believe that you should do what makes you happy. Food makes me happy so I'm going to keep eating what I want (in moderation of course)!

Hello everyone!
Hope your week has gone well so far! So today I wanted to post about our date night that we had a few weeks ago! After a hard spell of exams, we decided to go out for a nice evening together.
We went to a restaurant called Twenty Princes Street in Edinburgh.
It was really beautiful inside. The decor was so cool. And even more important, the food was delicious! We had booked an offer online which gave us 3 courses and a glass of wine/beer for £20 each! It was great value for money!
After our meal, we moved through to the bar area which was reasonably priced to our surprise!
Here are some pictures from the evening.

Tomato, Red Onion and Spicy Lentil Soup
Salmon with Chilli and Lemon Sauce, Curried Potatoes and Onion Bahji's
I demolished my desert before taking a photo but I had butterscotch ice cream and my other half had Ginger cake.
Enjoying my gin in peace!
We had a lovely evening, thank you Twenty Princes Street for making our end of exams celebration perfect! I would highly recommend the restaurant to anyone, so if you are in Edinburgh at any point, check them out!

Today's BEDM topic is the best thing about being an adult. I'm not sure I can pick just one thing. I can regularly be heard saying "I wish I was back at school. Life was so much easier." It's true it's easier, but not necessarily better.
So I need to write a list of my favourite things.
1. Being able to drive! (purely for the midnight mcdonald's drive thru's)!
2. Having my own house. Don't get me wrong, I love my family, but living with them was a nightmare. I get on so much better with them now we don't live under the same roof!
3. Being able to go out to fancy restaurants/bars.
4. Being able to go off travelling by myself.
5. Being able to do all the age-restricted stuff without feeling like a criminal haha!
I still sometimes long for the carefree teenage years, but to be honest, I'm pretty happy being an adult!

Here is what's been going on in my life this week through the method of instagram photos!
1- Yet another photo of my little fur baby. This was his photoshoot in the garden on Wednesday haha!
2- On Wednesday I was looking after my little cousin! This was his big boy look apparently! Little monkey!
3- On Thursday I had a job interview. On the way home I got a banana milkshake from Mcdonald's because they make me happy! I've become seriously addicted to them!
4- On Friday I started packing for our holiday. Do you think we have enough sun cream? Can you tell one of us is ginger? haha!
5- I bought this hat in Primark. My boyfriend thinks it's silly but I like it!
6- On Saturday I finished up work for 2 weeks! This was my start of holidays selfie with Smudge!
So that's pretty much been my week! As I've mentioned I'm away next week but I've got some post scheduled so there will still be new things to read next week!
If you want to catch up on my posts from this week you can find the links below!

Hello Everyone!
Today's post is a little tour of my little house!
For those of you who don't know, I live with my boyfriend in Edinburgh, Scotland! We've been living together for nearly 2 years and have stayed in this particular house for just over a year! It's a furnished rental so a lot of the decor/furniture belongs to our landlord but I try my best to personalise it!

Sitting Room
Kitchen
Bathroom
Bedroom
So that is my little humble home! I buy most of my home decor from Ikea, B&M and Primark purely because they are cheap and as a student that's exactly what you want! Hope you've enjoyed this post! I know I like having a little nosy at people's houses haha!

Hello!
Today I headed into town to grab a few last minute items from Primark (and River Island and New Look!)
Here is what I picked up!
Today I headed into town to grab a few last minute items from Primark (and River Island and New Look!)
Here is what I picked up!
Elephant Vest £3
How cute is this?! I couldn't resist for such a cheap price. I just love it!
Baseball Tee £3
This was in the sale so I grabbed it for wearing over my bikini at the pool on holiday.
Hat £2
Haha I got this purely for stopping my scalp from burning! I thought it was cute with the little cat ears. My boyfriend hates it but I don't care!
Top £6
I have to admit, I'm a bit of a Pepsi addict! So this top suited me perfectly. I plan on wearing it for travelling on Sunday as it's nice and loose.
Dress £15
This was my favourite purchase of the day! I fell in love with this dress, so much that I even had to wear it to photograph it! I can't wait to wear this on holiday!
Leggings £15 from River Island
Obv not from Primark but I love these acid wash look leggings! I'm also going to wear these whilst travelling on Sunday
Necklace £5.99 from New Look
I needed some statement necklaces for jazzing up my outfits. So I decided to pick this plain silver one as it will go with most of my stuff!
Necklace £4.99 from New Look
Then I saw this in the sale so I had to get it too!
Hair Accessory £5 from Claire's Accessories
I've seen a few people wearing these and I think they look so cute and will look even better when I've got a nice tan and wearing my new maxi dress!
So, that's my haul from today! Have you picked up any bargains lately?

Hello Everyone.
Today I'm posting about what I believe to be essentials for any girl's wardrobe! I know my outfits revolve around them!
So here is my top 10 wardrobe essentials!
1. Black Heels. They can be worn to work and on nights out. Versatile!
2. Comfy jeans. I've recently developed a fondness for jeans again! I practically live in mine right now!
3. Black leggings. My other half would laugh if he saw this one. He's forever telling me to stop wearing black leggings because they are boring but I just can't stop it! They go with everything and they are so comfy!
4. A pretty party dress. Self explanatory really. You never know when a night out will arise!
5. A bright coloured scarf (or in my case 50 bright coloured scarves). I'm not joking, I really do have that many scarves! A scarf can completely change an outfit you may have worn 20 times before and are getting bored of. Just try it and see!
6. Clutch Bag. I'm a fan of a huge envelope clutch myself. Good for carrying flats on a night out.
7. A maxi skirt/dress. For when the sun decides to rear it's head.
8. A basic tee or vest. I wear basic tees so often but they are just so good for staying comfy!
9. A grey cardigan. Don't ask me why but I've got so many grey cardigans. I just love them. They go with almost anything in my wardrobe!
10. Ugg boots. Embrace your inner chav. In the winter months I live in ugg boots and I have no regrets. They are the comfiest shoes ever!
What are your wardrobe essentials?

Pink sandals
£25 newlook.com
Hello Everyone!
I've recently become obsessed with flatform sandals, so today I'm bringing you my pick of the best ones out there! If you are short like me, these will be your best friend this summer! They are honestly the comfiest sandals ever! They are just like wearing flats (well duh! the clue is in the name!)
I love wearing maxi dresses in summer and I usually need a pair of wedges to stop them trailing the ground. However, the place I'm going on holiday to this year is full of cobbled streets which could result in a broken ankle if I wear high wedges. With these, I hope my feet will be nice and comfy and my ankles nice and un-broken!
Do you have a pair of flatforms? What do you think of them?

Hey everyone! Just a little update on what I've been up to this week!
1- After my Tax exam on Monday, I needed a little pick-me-up so my other half took me to starbucks for my favourite drink (Caramel Coffee Frappuchino)! If you haven't tried this I recommend you do! It's delicious!
2 & 3- On wednesday we had our final exam which called for a celebration! Of course this involved wine and food! We visited a restaurant in Edinburgh called Twenty Princes Street. I'm going to do a post on our night next week so look out for that!
4- I regularly get called the crazy cat lady so it made me giggle when there were 3 random cats in my garden this week, one of which was actually sitting at my window meowing to get in!
5- This sums up the hillarity which was going on in my house when we should have been studying! It mostly involved videos of cats doing funny things!
6- You may have seen my post yesterday about my end of year uni ball! We've been every year since first year and it's always a good night! This year was no different. It's so lovely to see everyone before everyone goes back home for the summer months!
So that was my week this week!
p.s this time next week I'll be lying on a beach in Portugal! (Just saying!)
Hehe!

Hey everyone!
As you may know, I finished my exams this week, and it's tradition on my course that we have a ball at the end of every year! Of course this means I get to buy a new dress every year which is always fun!
So here is my outfit from last night!!

So here is my outfit from last night!!
Please excuse my messy hallway!
My dress is from Boohoo.com, I'm wearing gold glitter shoes from Next and a plain silk pashmina from Tie Rack
Train selfie!
I wore plain gold ball earrings (from H&M) and no necklace as I thought the sequins on the dress were enough!
I never wear eye make-up so as you can see I treated my eyes last night! And I just wore my hair in a ponytail and curled the ends!
Everyone had a great night, especially our lecturer who was more drunk than any of the students! I had a rather sore head this morning (made worse by starting work at 9am)! So scary that next year's ball will be my last ever one! Ahh I'm getting old!

Hello everyone! Today's topic is passion projects- what do you love and would love to make money from?
I've loved fashion from a very young age. I used to love picking out all my outfits and posing for photos!
I've loved fashion from a very young age. I used to love picking out all my outfits and posing for photos!
This was me aged 4 in a very well matched up outfit! haha!
So of course, I'd love to make money from fashion! I know it is such a competitive market though, and the chances are highly unlikely! Of course, It's possible that I could eventually turn this blog into a job!
At one point, I wanted writing about fashion to be my job! I started a journalism degree in 2010 but I found it was aimed more at people who wanted to write for newspapers, which wasn't what I wanted to do! So I switched to doing a Law degree (strange choice I know!) I'm now nearing the end of my degree and trying to work out what I want for the future! For now, I'll continue writing my blog, and who knows, maybe one day someone important will see this and I'll become a huge fashion journalist! ha ha!

Hello everyone! As it is Cinco De Mayo today, I've got a little mexican themed post for everyone!
This is a little recipe that my auntie shared with me recently and I have to say it is one of my favourite things to make.
This is a little recipe that my auntie shared with me recently and I have to say it is one of my favourite things to make.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Mince (I used steak mince on this occassion)
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 2 tbsp water
- 8 small fajita sized flour tortillas
- cooking oil
- 1 cup shredded cheese (I used mozzarella on this occasion)
- Tomato Puree
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- 1 chopped pepper
- sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees
- Brown beef in a pan until fully cooked. Drain off any grease.
- Add taco seasoning, onion, pepper and water to beef and cook for a few minutes. Set aside.
- Brush both sides of the tortillas with oil and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake tortillas for 2 minutes at 180 degrees. Turn tortillas and bake for 2 more minutes.
- Spread the prepared mince over the tortilla to be used as the base. Top each with one of the remaining tortillas.
- Spread tomato puree and grated cheese over the top tortilla
- Place under the broiler until the cheese is melted.
- Slice each pizza into 4 slices and top with a spoonful of sour cream to serve. Serves 4.
Yummmmmmy! I really enjoyed making (and eating) these! And they were so simple to make!
Let me know if you attempt to make these!

Okay so I have been naughty and deviated away from today's blog challenge topic! It was talk about sci-fi and I honestly know nothing about it and I don't watch any at all. So I decided to use the opportunity to do a little update on my week!
1- On Thursday night we went to a debate about the independence referendum which is happening in Scotland later this year. It was very interesting (sad I know!) but I'm still undecided on how I'm going to vote. On the way home we grabbed a McDonalds because we hadn't eaten and it was very late! Mmm banana milkshake!
2- I've been waiting forever for this ring and it finally arrived! I love it! No-one understands the meaning of it but it's simba from the lion king obviously! I love the lion king!
3- I'm right in the middle of my uni exams just now so coffee is my best friend. I found this coffee by beanies in Sainsbury's. It is delicious. They also make irish cream and vanilla flavoured coffee which I am going to pick up when I do my weekly shop on Wednesday.
4- 2 weeks today until I jet off to the sun for a week! This was the weather in Alvor, Portugal on Friday! Fingers and toes crossed it stays like this for me!
5- This pretty much sums up my weekend. So much stress, so many difficult people!
6- I was playing on that status generator thing on Facebook (typical student procrastination) and it gave me this. I giggled at it for a while. This is me every Saturday and Sunday when I get up at silly o' clock for work! Although I don't wake up on the ground haha!
So that is pretty much it for this week. I've been studying hard all week so I've had no time for fun :( My last exam is on wednesday so hopefully next week this post will be more fun to write haha!
Have a lovely bank holiday monday tomorrow guys! Pity me whilst I'm stuck in my 3 hour long Tax Law exam!

Hello Everyone!
Unfortunately for me, I don't get weekends! I work both a Saturday and a Sunday! (I don't work Mon-Fri though). Therefore my weekend morning routine is very dull.
I do the same shift both days which is 7am until 4pm. So here is my routine every weekend!
5.45am:
This is when I get up to start getting ready. I have my coffee machine all set up so all I need to do is press the on button! Whilst my coffee is brewing, I have a quick wash, tie my hair up (uniform rules!) and put on minimal make up (also uniform rules!)
I then enjoy my coffee (milk and 2 sugars!) whilst I check twitter, facebook, blog comments and any emails!
Then I put my uniform on and get ready to leave!
6.30am:
I usually enjoy a cheeky cigarette (bad habit I know!) on the way to my car. It takes roughly 20 minutes to get from my house to work, during which time, I enjoy a little sing song in the car, as well as concentrating on the road of course!
7am:
I clock in, put my stuff in my locker and head downstairs to start work.
My main task in the mornings is to go around my whole department, making sure every product is priced correctly and in the right place. This usually takes about 2-3 hours every morning.
9.30am:
This is my breakfast break time! I usually grab a roll or a fruit salad and enjoy it in the canteen with a cup of fruit juice.
10am:
Back to work time! After I've done my pricing check, I do the cleaning, serve any customers and fill any gaps on the shelves until about 12.30pm when I take my lunch break.
So that's my very boring weekend morning routine! This probably explains why I never post new blog posts at the weekend too! I'm usually knackered by 4pm ha ha!
I'd love to see your posts on this 3rd day of the blog every day in may challenge!
Leave me links below! :)

Happy Friday everyone!
Today's blog topic is 'My 5 favourite posts'.
This was quite hard to choose as I've enjoyed writing all of my posts! I don't see the point in blogging just for the sake of it so all my posts are written because I am passionate about the topic.
So I narrowed my decision down to these 5 posts!
1. Concrete Jungle where dreams are made: This was my all time favourite post by far! I saved up for over 18 months to make the trip to New York and I had the absolute time of my life! I've already started planning my next trip!
2. Meet Smudge: I really enjoyed introducing you all to my little fur baby. He means the world to me and It's important to me that he gets a little space on my blog!
3. Huge Spring/Summer Haul: I had such a great day shopping for this haul post! It's definitely my favourite haul post (and biggest)! I can't wait for my holiday to wear all my clothes!
4. Birthday Outfit: This was the outfit I wore for my 21st birthday party! This was a great night, despite a few very drunk people trying to ruin it for everyone! I love my hair in this post. Shame it's never sat this nice since haha!
5. Snow Fairy Review: Finally, my all time favourite shower gel! I really enjoyed using this product to review it. I've still got a little dribble left! I can't wait for October time when it goes back on sale, so I can stock up again!
So that's my 5 favourites! I'd love to see your 5 favourite posts, leave me links below :) xx

Hey guys!
So today is the first day of the blog every day in May challenge and the topic is what is your blog about?
I don't really have a simple answer for this.
My blog started out as a place for me to document all my bargain fashion finds. As a student, I don't have much spare money so most of the stuff featured on my blog is from the high street!
As time has gone on, I've started including beauty posts, and more recently, lifestyle posts too!
My favourite post to do is still the good old haul posts but I'm working hard to make my blog more diverse!
If you have any tips on how I can improve my blog, both the way it looks and the content, I'd be happy to hear them!
xx
